Iz been 2 months plus since river regatta.. it was like a snap of my fingers that 3 yrs in spdb just so happen in a flash..
Year 1
As much as i can remember, Captain was daren or maybe darren( a guy who crack some joke & being serious during training while being a friend outside DB) don't know how to spell and VC was Sat (known for his strength and mental power, and i remember he saying his source of power CURRY!!!!!) there was Renard who live just a few block from me... also Risheng e very big size guy not so tall yet packs a punch if he spear u.. Wen Siong e big bear whom is very very strong as for his height and build..
Training was tough as we always do running, pull ups and weights.. remember e first tough training we did weights till i couldn't even lift my hands.. it was aching like crazy.. lolz weights was always 4 sets of 8 which is doing strength and the heavier the better.. i was doing like 27.5 of shoulder lolz thats scary right.. still couldn't remember alot of e yr 1 couldn't do pull ups.. and mx mic eq was doing 0 and now to them pull ups is nothing lolz(maybe for eq cause he always complain say his hands is going to spoil liao lolz..)
Rowing in the SDBA boat which is full of green stuff like fungs... eeeeeeeeeeeeeee and the smell of rotten eggs... but nevertheless training was fun.. and everytime after training, we wouldn't be heading for LAN Gaming lolz... BF2 with chun jie, sat, mx, eq(commander), aaron(e act smart sniper), ivan, renard, wang peng, walter, ah lau( he is my co-pilot lolz he would wanna board my apache), thai land bitch, TPF, fishy03 who is e camper of e game who can climb from point to point.. lol... Our first ever race of our SPDB career which is SAVA hahaha.... we were like tossing coins to see who to go for e harder race and as e coin toss e junior(US) is going for e harder race.. couldn't recall who was in e race.. but we did our best also there is something we realise thats not our 100% lolz... e race was like 9am and we pack up at 12pm lolz.. it was a 2 days event but we only went for e 1st day as we didn't get into e semi finals.. We went BF2ing hahaha
Main race of e yr River Regatta.. We went riverside point to have our bonding dinner.. Indo crusine pa... then went to UOB building where we were given e IVP jacket of e year..It was raining cats and dogs but yet i think we had alot of fun not rowing but taking photo lolz.. we didn't fare well for e races... it was full stop for e year 3 and a experience we will never forget...
YEAR 2
hmmmm kicked off year 2 SPDB with C is Bryan, Ruben as VC, Wang Peng as treasurer, Terence as Secretary i think thats all i can remember.. Training was e same in the beginning, we started off with the leaving of our year 1 coach sidney.. and bryan and ruben as stand in coach lolz... they also didn't know wat to do and just stick to same program.. 4sets of 8 as usual... until around before penang race, jun hong who is an alumni member came coaching us.. he coached us for a while and we got ready for penang race... before that not forgetting ORientation camp for e new year 1 where i partner Ms biceps lolz and we are the team hugo(biceps) and boss(i)...
At the camp, i got to know my baby heez...
and e most happening event of e year was PENang where we took bus from singapore all e way to penang... everything was cheap and i mean cheap FISH N CO sea food platter for 2 = the price for 1 in SGD lolz... we were like hungry animal set loss lolz...
Then was e tearing of underwear lolz... e whole level was our voice our laughter.. i never imagine myself having pool rowing in the swimming pool and the max weight available in the gym was 4 kg lolz....

he has a killer smile lolz.. although he always smile but he still cares for us. our training our stroke... we got 3rd in the mixed open finals... the first medal of my career with my batch mx and eq...
Year 3
Up next was our turn to be the leader of tml lolz.. Mx as C, Wz as VC, Eq as secretary, me as treasurer, roy as membership sec, aaron as QM (hopeless).....
We got onto a rough start as we need to change our stroke.. but iz alright. we went for a double training session for MR500 which we got 2nd place for it Silver......... then along e way was bronze for some events... then next was DB instructor course & First aid course i truly miss those days where we year 3 sat and row as the backpack of the boat where i shout LAST3 and they will echo out lai and eq will shout e loudest.. this was the power of our charging which shock alot of people and fellow dragon boaters... this bond this strength this power is always remember in my mind in my heart where my brothers will never never stop or let me down during charging.. I love you people as my bros and this is truly something kept deeply in my mind... i miss those days during training where we will kp mic for being noisy and andy for being a idiot at times and eq me aaron would be gossiping around....
During training, we will have a fair competition with each other pushing one another to achieve greater heights... this kind of feeling can never be found again trust me it is hard to feel it again..
now that we are busy with our things, we can't find another chance just to paddle with each other again..
I really miss those days those days... rowing like a dog and drinking like a camel.. iz fate that bought us eq, mx, mic, wz, roy, charles, scott, andy and me together to know each other to bond with each other from friends to close friends to brothers... this i will never forget till the day i die.. Bros 4ever...
